Speak to a customer service representative

  • Phone our support line on 1300 287 539 (select option 2, then option 1 for myID enquiries).
  • If you have difficulty speaking or understanding English, phone us using the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS) on 13 14 50.
  • For callers who have difficulty hearing or speaking to people on the phone, contact the National Relay Service (NRS) and give them our support number, 1300 287 539 (select option 2 for myID enquiries).
  • If you are overseas, phone +61 2 6216 1111 and ask for your call to be transferred to the myID support line.

  • 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Australian local time, Monday to Friday
  • Overseas support line – 8:00 am to 6:00 pm AEDT, Monday to Friday

The myID support line will be closed from midday 12:00 pm (local time) on Tuesday 24 December 2024 and re-open at 8:00 am (local time) on Thursday 2 January 2025.

myID offers a greater level of security because it uses document verification, rather than just username and password credentials and SMS verification codes.

If you suspect the security of your myID has been compromised – for example, that someone has inappropriately accessed your personal information – report it immediately.
